Fees and The Process

Toward Beginning Therapy

There are generally three stages in getting us to regular therapy sessions.

They are each outlined below with the associated fees for each.

I am Out Of Network for all insurance providers, but if needed I can provide

a Superbill which you can submit for reimbursement from your insurance provider.

A sliding scale is available upon request.

1) Phone Consultation

Cost: Free

The phone consultation is roughly 30 minutes long and is a brief chance for you and I to chat and find out what you're looking for and what I can provide. If it sounds like a good fit, we can book the intake session!

2) Intake Session

Cost: $225*

The intake session is 1.5 to 2 hours and is where I get detailed information about your child, family and any goals you might have for your child's therapy. I may have brief assessments for you at this time, and will share information with you about my approach to therapy in general and possibly in more specific terms as it relates to your specific situation.

 3) Weekly Sessions

Cost: $160*

Weekly sessions of 50 minutes are typical (2x weekly and bi-weekly sessions also available depending on the severity of symptoms). I will meet with your child once per week, and conduct meetings with parents at regular intervals, (generally around every 5th week) to review any progress I'm seeing, and what you are seeing at home.

Therapy continues until it becomes clear that it is no longer needed, and involves a transition period to termination of sessions.

*(Private pay only. Superbill available upon request for insurance reimbursement.)

Remember

Growth is a slow process and so is change in behavior. The therapist must be patient with the process.
